The First Virtual Conference on Sustainability of Local Systemic Change took place from May 14-23, 2001.

Larry Cuban of Stanford University was the keynote speaker. Jeanne Century, Chris Dede and Dean Fink were discussants. Mark St. John, Ramesh Gangolli, Linda Gregg, and Mike Klentschy participated in interactive panels. Twenty LSC projects presented posters reflecting on issues of sustaining their LSC.
