Dr. Cuban, I found your comments to be very practical and down to earth. My first response is to Q# 1 on standards. In Va. we are clearly driven by student performance on our state assessment and the success of our project will be compared to the performance of the students on that assessment. It is my opinion that the NSF standards will facilitate student learning and will have a positive influence on state standards and student performance on related assessments. In our case Va. standards carry the most weight because of the accountability associated with the outcomes.

Oh, since this is a conference, who was in charge of the refreshments? Thanks.
