Mark,

This article has so many important nuggets and overarching ideas that reflect the culture within which we work. Your picture of limited, unstable funding, multiple needs for funding, shifting priorities and leadership all ring true. You say, "What gets sustained in a district is what can get supported." It makes tremendous sense to "invest in the long term growth of capacity" and "evaluate our investments so that they help to build the improvement infrastructure within states, regions, and districts." What role can we each play in making this case? What questions should we be asking?
