Isn't it worth a shot? - Ben Sayler

Ben,

In your clear and concise way, you have summarized my position from the beginning. We need to recognize that to be whole, an LSC needs to look both at the quality of the teaching and its impact on students. It is almost the "view of student assessment from 30,000 feet vs. the reality of being on the ground"! To leave out the impact of the instructional program on students will not bring about sustainability for LSC's. This is the major focus of our efforts - sustainability of high quaility instruction in our classrooms. Also , this is an issue that a vertical team must address as an on-going issue in the LSC.

Mike
