Roles and Responsibilities

As K-5 Mathematics and Science Administrative Specialist for the Clark County School District, Linda Gregg is responsible for professional development design, implementation, and evaluation for teachers and administrators. She facilitates curriculum development and selection of curricula resources for over 6000 K-5 teachers in 159 elementary schools. As Principal Investigator for the Mathematics and Science Enhancement (MASE) II and (MASE) K-5 Using Technology Local Systemic Change Initiatives projects, her additional responsibilities include project design, implementation, on-going evaluation, and planning.

In order to meet the range of district and project needs, Ms. Gregg provides leadership development for 13 teachers on special assignment (TOSAs) for mathematics and science and facilitate professional development design implementation and evaluation for two Local Systemic Change projects and the Eisenhower program. As part of on-going professional development, she provides support to lead teachers and TOSAs as they field-test nationally developed curriculum projects.

Ms. Greggs current areas of focus include professional development design, how children think and learn, implementation of meaningful science and mathematics, and leadership development. Her passion is skiing.
