I am most impressed with the progress made in getting science into the various classrooms. That the state test helped your project was an unexpected benefit. I am curious, however, about the comment made that reading programs have pushed science to the afternoons. Is the idea of integrating science content into reading instruction impossible because of the particular reading program used in the schools?
