I really like the model you have developed -- seems right on target. I would have liked to see more about the student outcomes you are achieving.

As the article I wrote for the "Resources" section discusses, many teachers can be lured in either by a focus on content or a focus on learners (depending on which led them into teaching as a profession initially). The recent National Academy of Sciences report, Knowing What Students Know," has a number of examples of diagnostic student assessment strategies that could draw teachers into discussions about learning and professional development. The report is available free online at the National Academy Press website.
