It is nice to see that a neighbour is doing such interesting work. I live near Hamilton in Ontario - just down the road. You seem to have made great gains in the face of some daunting challenges. You prove that perseverance pays of. Since reading and math are such 'test-driven' priorities ( and who can blame a principal if his/her backside is on the line) have you been able to connect the use of your approach to science to efficacy in reading and math. Principals etc. in my experience respond to evidence that a certain practice contributes to their priorities. Is such a connection possible? Perhaps this is where a university study, perhaps a doctoral study might make a dent in the apparent indifference. good luck - keep up the good work.
