I must declare a bias before I ask my question. Private sector partnerships in my experience are great in the short run because the company uses its involvement to promote its products. When they get what they want they often leave the school or system high and dry. Since the private sector seems to play a significant role in your project, has the Bayer Corporation maintained its interest? and what happens when they back off? or will they, or does it matter? My second question relates to the phrase "keep student learning as the focus". How have you been able to pursue the very exciting goals of your project and deal with top down testing etc.? This seems to be the fundamental dilemma of all the projects.
