Biography

 

"Reading through the posters and interacting with conference participants has inspired me with the many types of innovations occurring across the country. It takes a lot of courage to push forward with deep inquiry learning at a time when so much educational "reform" is targeted to low-level content and skills, measured by low-level high-stakes tests. In recent testimony before Congress, I discussed why this type of innovation is so important and how the federal government could alter its policies to empower what you are doing.
