Hi Jeanne, It was so helpful to read your reflections on this conference - the next best thing to seeing you! Just as you said, hard to find the time to paricipate - absolutely worth the effort. There are so many expectations and variations when we say reform. I sometimes wonder what other word might serve efforts to improve edcuation for students. So far I have no substitute. Many in the conference talked about shinning a light on progress - we do need to work together as you suggest - to figure out how best to set doable steps supported by stable funding, implemented and judged successful.
