I'm interested in how your project and you and your colleagues deal with the goal of inquiry based approaches to science and external accountability measures. How do you manage the multiple 'meanings' that teachers bring to such phrases as standards based learning. Is not the whole standards thing in some ways counter to good science? I'm a historian so this may be a naive question.
