Chris Dede's reflection is exactly where we are in attempting to sustain our work.......transition to a process that will enable the product to survive or adapt as needed. Focusing on the process of a culture of a learning organization (Senge) has been applied specifically to the education community by Rick DuFour in his "Professional Learning Communities." DuFour is a wonderful presenter for schools interested in reform.
His work is helping our districts and teachers to continuously improve.

I want to thank Dean Fink for his helpful remarks on sustainability. His statements on "school bashing"....the morally bankrupt campaign by powerful elements..... will be added to my favorite quotes to use when I am continually barraged by our business community about how terrible our schools are today. Thanks
